The glimpse into the elite levels of track and field at Olympic Trials has inspired Nika to aim for even greater performances. She works as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at Mike Boyle Strength and Conditioning. Her dedication has led to a new personal best of 52.64 meters, about 172 feet 8.5 inches. Here’s a video of Nika demonstrating some fundamental drills in athletic development.
You can usually find Nika training at Harvard or Boston University. When she isn’t training or coaching, Nika enjoys fly fishing, reading good books, visiting family, and adventuring with friends. Another outlet for her competitive passion is spikeball. Nika’s athletes have decided that her spirit animal is a border collie. You’ll have to ask her the story behind that one.
